There was approximately nine frames used to make the animation. The frames originally were JPEGS however all animations are gifs. In order to make the animation you must convert the JPEG into a GIF. This is a simple process which can be done in Photoshop by simply doing the following:

Once done compress the files using a compression program. If you don't have a compression program on your hard drive visit gifcruncher.com and they'll compress your images online.

Step 2:

Once done compress the files using a compression program. If you don't have a compression program on your hard drive visit gifcruncher.com and they'll compress your images online for free.

 Step 3:

Once your images are compressed all you have to do is download a program which will combined all the frames to make a smooth animation. I would suggest visiting ulead as the have a wonderful program:

The program will combined the frames and make a smooth animation. This powerful animation tool will allow you to insert transitions, delay between frames and even edit frames.
